The aim of the study led by Instituto Bernabeu gynaecologist, Francisco Sellers, and endorsed by the Association for the Study of Reproduction Biology (ASEBIR), was to determine if there are differences between the quantity of trophoblastic vascularisation during early stages of spontaneous pregnancies and pregnancies after assisted reproduction techniques (ART).

Instituto Bernabeu presented research work in poster format at the 9^th edition of the Congress of the Association for the Study of Reproduction Biology (Asebir) held in Madrid in November. The research is based on data obtained from observing if there is a relationship between the morphological characteristics of an embryo, in accordance with Asebir criteria, and the presence of mosaicism in blastocyst biopsies.

Instituto Bernabeu has presented research work entitled 'Is there a relationship between oocyte retrieval and maturation, and embryo aneuploidy and mosaicism rates?' at the 9^th edition of the Congress of the Association for the Study of Reproduction Biology (ASEBIR). The research focuses on the relationship between the number of oocytes retrieved and matured following ovarian puncture and rates of embryo aneuploidy and mosaicism (chromosomal and cellular abnormalities).
