For the seventh year in a row, the Instituto Bernabeu Social Welfare Foundation has awarded prizes to the winners of the VII edition of the Children's Drawing Competition in which children represent how they see and understand maternity. Out of over 300 entries, the jury selected 7-year-old Rubén Cano Mateo's 'For my super-Mum' picture in the 5 to 8 years of age category. Ester Tomás, aged 12, was the winner of the 9 to 12 years of age category with her picture entitled 'Soon there'll be one more in the family'.
Instituto Bernabeu studies a possible connection between embryo quality and congenital abnormalities
The aim of the study, which has been published in the Iberoamerican Fertility Journal, is based on understanding the possible relationship between the quality of embryos transferred during in vitro fertilisation (IVF) and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) cycles with the presence of abnormalities in the foetus.
The Rafael Bernabeu Charitable Foundation, has received 300 children's drawings related to maternity in the contest organized by the organization for the seventh consecutive year.
