At the Ferring Fertility Symposium, Instituto Bernabeu backs the appropriateness of transferring a single embryo
Instituto Bernabeu is participating in the VIII edition of the Ferring Fertility Symposium being held on 17th and 18th February in Valencia.
The Medical Co-Director of Instituto Bernabeu, Dr Ll. Aparicio, will participate in the debate entitled 'Elective transfer of an embryo: are we ready?' in which the expert will back the concept of transferring a single embryo. This is based on laboratory quality as well as increasingly advanced embryo and uterine studies.
The gynaecologist will point out that the tendency at Instituto Bernabeu is to implant a single embryo in order to avoid multiple pregnancies which increase the level of complications both for the mother and for the babies.
Two hundred specialists are expected to attend the assisted reproduction symposium. Over various sessions, the event will cover the uterine factor and ovarian stimulation tendencies, amongst other topics.
