Instituto Bernabeu invites the city of Alicante to the concert tribute to women
The event will take place on Friday 6th March at 20:00 at the Sala Sinfónica del Auditorio Provincial de Alicante (ADDA) offered by the soprano María Miró, with Eugenia Gassull at the piano.
Rafael Bernabeu Charitable Foundation from Instituto Bernabeu, once again, organise a lyrical concert to commemorate International Women's Day, which will feature the opera soprano María Miró accompanied by the pianist Eugenia Gassull. This cultural event will take place on Friday 6th of March at the Sala Sinfónica del Auditorio Provincial de Alicante, ADDA.
Like all events organized by Rafael Bernabeu Charitable Foundation from Instituto Bernabeu, it is a free event, invitation request indispensable for access. The invitations can be collected at any of our Instituto Bernabeu branches.
The repertoire will include a first part with compositions of Fernán Silva, Manuel Bandeira, Jaime Ovalle, among others; and a second part with songs belonging to Combat Somni cycle of Josep Janes and famed Cinco Canciones Negras composition of Xavier Montsalvatge.
María Miró is a young soprano with beautiful and distinctive voice timbre, with a promising career. Her career has been upward in the last two years; she has received the Award of Zarzuela and Instituto Bernabeu Prize at the III International Singing Competition City of Elda 2014, among others. The Soprano, who has developed her career in opera, recital and oratorio, has debuted in the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona and the Teatro Real in Madrid.
Beside her on stage will be Eugenia Gassull, renowned pianist who has performed numerous recitals in collaboration with other artists, singers and instrumentalists or part of the Barcelona Metropolitan Opera productions, among others. These collaborations have led her to perform throughout the Spanish geography, participating also in international festivals such as the Sirocco in Italy, Opera pocket Madrid, Barcelona, Peralada, Cadaqués or Torroella de Montgrí.
